Arts Festivals in Alberta

Over 1.5 million people enjoy festivals in Alberta each year, with Alberta Arts Festivals producing over 4,500 shows at over 500 events across the province. 17,000 volunteers and 250 staff work close to 400,000 hours to bring the best in the arts to Alberta each year!

The Alberta Foundation for the Arts funds over 50 Arts and Heritage Day Festivals across Alberta. The Alberta Foundation for the Arts is committed to helping Festivals prosper across Alberta, and to ensuring that all Albertans have access to the arts, no matter where they live.
