Alberta Production Grant
Program Deliverables
Upon completion of the Production and on, or before, the Cut-Off Date, the applicant is required to submit the following Deliverables to the Alberta Multimedia Development Fund (AMDF) for the Alberta Production Grant (APG).
Failure to submit Deliverables or request an extension by the allotted Cut-Off Date may result in the suspension of future grant applications or grant cancellation.
All Productions must submit before or by their Cut-Off Date:
- A DVD or VHS of the completed Production including
- The final list of Head and Tail Credits as they actually appear on the completed Production, as per section 7.1 of the Grant Agreement (see Credits and Promotion for more information).
- Any new or amended document that references the AMDF or the APG Grant, or which may affect the applicant's or the production's funding eligibility.
- An Audit, Review Engagement or Uncertified Final Cost Report, depending on the size of the Production's budget. Auditors are required to provide an opinion on compliance with program guidelines.
- If available and requested, a full electronic press kit including, but not limited to, a minimum of two cast shots and two 'behind the scenes' production shots, submitted on CD Rom, as well as any additional publicity/promotional materials available (i.e., posters, etc.), with an acknowledgement that the Government of Alberta may use the press kit to promote the Alberta film industry.
- Other documentation that the AMDF may require of the applicant.

Deadlines and Grant Amendments
Applicants may not be entitled to their grant if all Deliverables are not received by their designated Projected Delivery Date. It is the applicant's responsibility to notify the AMDF if they cannot meet their Projected Delivery Date. For further information about deadlines and grant amendments, please click here.
Assigning Funds?
Applicants often use the promise of APG funding as collateral to finance their production. Once production is complete, applicants may wish to assign their APP funding to their lender. For information about this process, please visit our tips for Assigning Funds.
