Vitalize Provincial Voluntary Sector Confernece

Vitalize

Since 1989, Vitalize has provided Alberta’s nonprofit/voluntary sector with world class training and development opportunities in an effort to bolster sector performance and develop leaders within the field. With each conference hosting over 50 training sessions and an average of 1,000 participants, Vitalize is the only conference of its kind in Canada.

Speakers guide delegates through 90-minute sessions covering topics such as fundraising, board development, leadership, stress management, volunteer management and more. To make Vitalize accessible to all volunteers and nonprofit groups, a significant portion of the conference costs are underwritten by the Government of Alberta. This ensures as many delegates as possible are able to attend Vitalize.

Another goal of Vitalize is to encourage youth to get involved with volunteer activities. Through the Youth Mentor Program, young people can attend the conference with a mentor, free of charge.
